Founded in 1980 by Francesco Monitillo, the Monitillo Marmi company is located a stone's throw from Altamura, in the heart of Puglia. Nestled in the characteristic hills of the Murgia, the company covers an area of 1,000 square metres, where stones, marbles and granites are collected and processed.
TECHNOLOGY AND CRAFTSMANSHIP
Thanks to the rapid growth of the local and international customer base over the years, CNC precision machining has been added to manual processing, allowing the infinite transformation of abstract shapes into advanced mass production.
Monitillo Marmi is involved in numerous projects for construction sites and private residences, offering a model based on the scrupulous observation of details and the elaboration of tailor-made solutions. In 2014, these collaborations will lead to the realization of the Pietre di Monitillo project, a collection of furnishing products involving important names in Italian and international design. The project enters the prestigious ADI Design Index 2015 with the product Ovo.
