The Robot lamp base by Pols Potten, designed by Hans van Bentem, is the illuminated sibling of the brand's iconic Robot stool. Hand-carved from solid wood by artisans in the label's Senegalese workshop, it keeps the marks of tools, time and origin: no two pieces are alike. Topped with a shade, it takes on the playful air of a character, somewhere between sculpture and lighting. E27 socket, roughly 3 m black braided cord with switch, bulb not included. Its cognac tone brings out the grain of the raw wood. Compact despite its weight (around 50 kg unloaded), it earns its place in a living room, hallway or reading corner, set on the floor as a piece in its own right. Sold without shade or bulb; pair it to taste.
