The XL version of the Melting mirror by Pols Potten frames fluidity. Its oval outline seems to literally melt into a soft beige, a playful way of questioning today's obsession with correction and perfection. This wall mirror in hand-lacquered polyester holds a genuine glass mirror plate, for a sharp reflection despite its whimsical shape. Generously sized (H 140 × W 90 × D 8 cm, around 18 kg), it hangs as happily in an entryway as above a living-room console or a bedroom dresser, where its organic silhouette draws the eye instantly.
