The Robot side table by Pols Potten, designed by Hans van Bentem, extends the world of the stool of the same name into a piece of furniture. Hand-carved from solid wood by artisans in the brand's Senegalese workshop, it carries the marks of the craft: every piece is unique and grows more characterful with age and use. Its round top (Ø 40 cm) set on a full, sculptural base (H 58 cm) makes it an ideal perch beside a sofa, an armchair or a bed, for a lamp, a book or a morning tray. Its cognac tone brings out the wood's natural grain. Built to handle outdoor as much as indoor use, it sits as happily on a covered terrace as in a living room. Delivered assembled; no upkeep beyond the occasional dusting.
