Humbert et Poyet is the result of a Franco-Monegasque collaboration between two young interior designers with a passion for decorative arts: Emil Humbert and Christophe Poyet. They met shortly after graduating from the Ecole Nationale de l'Architecture (Paris-Belleville) and from the Académie Charpentier in Paris. Together they founded in 2007 the eponymous Humbert & Poyet agency, renowned for its audacious projects. Luxurious hotels, gourmet restaurants, chic boutiques, private apartments or residential projects: everything goes. Inspired by Art Deco and contemporary art, Humbert & Poyet bring a subtle touch of elegance to each of their projects.

The Hoxton, a hotel mixing Parisian classicism with the 50's atmosphere of industrial workshops

Hoxton: rooms with a colorful and graphic style

For the 172 rooms available in Shoebox (the most compact), Cosy (standard), Roomy (spacious) and Biggy (the largest), this grand Parisian hotel entrusted the renovation work to Humbert and Poyet. With spectacular views of the Louvre, Eiffel Tower and Notre Dame, The Hoxton Paris is the hot-spot for decor lovers. Located in the trendy Sentier district, design enthusiasts are happy to meet there. The duo Humbert & Poyet wanted to make this hotel a tribute to this aesthetic exaltation. They transcribe Parisian life in all its beauty and refinement in rooms with mixed styles. This mix of genres creates magnificent settings. "We worked on five typologies in terms of atmosphere and fabric on a chromatic palette of blue, red and green each time different " The wire mesh partition takes us back in time. The table lamps give the room a workshop feel. The gray colored herringbone floor makes the floor sober and classy. This decor inspired by both 19th century craftsmanship and the fifties is a charming tribute to the industrial style and modernist designers Jean Prouvé, Bernard Gras and Mathieu Matégo.

Hoxton: Etched in marble, or almost.

In collaboration with the British group Ennismore's Creative and Humbert et Poyet, Soho House, a Danish design studio, has sublimated the hotel while ingeniously preserving the historic architecture of the place. A Paris landmark founded by Nicolas d'Orbay at the request of Etienne Rivié, advisor to Louis XV, this hotel is now an ode to its past. Leading to the Jacques bar, this majestic and original 18th century staircase emanates French elegance and grace. Its spiral shape makes the clientele fall in love with it. The Soho House studio has perceived its rococo beauty, and has reintegrated it with finesse into the rest of the exceptional hotel decor.

Hoxton: in the intimacy of the boudoir-style Jacques Bar

The Jacques bar, with its warmly colored poufs and Art Deco wallpaper, plunges us into a halo of serenity and comfort for a convivial moment of taste. Far from the hustle and bustle of Paris, the Hoxton invites you to relax. The windows, overlooking the courtyard, illuminate the room. The atmosphere is perfect for relaxing or meeting with friends.
