Marjan van Aubel, originally from the Netherlands, has set out to revolutionize our lives. This ingenious designer pays great attention to environmental issues in the design of her creations. For this, she envisions lamps whose breathtaking beauty would contribute to permanently integrating natural energy into our interiors.

According to her, the sun could provide the entire world with enough energy in just one hour to meet the electricity needs for a year!

"I think it's good to show that solar energy can also become a form of art. It becomes something desirable, something we would like to be surrounded by rather than hide."

Marjan van Aubel is also an artist. Her lamps and solar panels are conceived as paintings, with beautiful colors that vary depending on the sun's position. Exhibited at MoMA in New York, these artworks are poetic creations, both useful and aesthetic. Emotion, hope, admiration – that's what one can feel in the face of Marjan van Aubel's masterpieces.

"Just as church stained glass windows told stories of the past, this series tells the story of our future... It's a story of hope, where we look to the sky instead of digging into the ground."

The geometry of the lines gives them an incredible futuristic style. The delicacy of almost pastel colors softens the window. Like a frame, this solar painting decorates interiors and brings electricity in an environmentally friendly way. Between materials from craftsmanship and ecological thinking, Marjan van Aubel shares these ethical values with MBS Design.
